What to Expect on Your First Lesson
Every first lesson at Dance PA follows a simple, supportive structure designed to help you feel comfortable right away. To begin, you’ll meet your instructor and talk through what brought you in.
Step by Step
Next, you’ll be introduced to a few basic ballroom dance steps to help you start moving comfortably around the floor. Along the way, your instructor will demonstrate and briefly explain some of the core dances within classic ballroom. At the same time, they’ll assess your movement and connection to the music so they can guide you at the right pace.

After your first lesson, you’ll be given a few clear dance goals to guide your progress. From there, we’ll help you continue building comfort and confidence step by step.
